Hiya Dragon Quest fans! It's new contest time again, and this one will allow you to tap into the deep well of your imagination and pull out some fun and interesting submissions.
Your objective in this contest is to design a new monster that you would like to see added to Dragon Quest X. Your design can come in the form of a drawing, a sprite edit, a 3D model, lego, clay, bead craft... you get the idea. Pretty much anything goes.
Submission Guidelines:
1) Limit of three entries per person
2) Designs must be sufficiently distinct from existing designs so as to be considered a new design and not just a palette swap
3) Sprite edits that consist of borrowing and merging elements from existing monsters are fine, but will be rejected if the extent of the edit is not significant enough
4) Send your designs to me by PM so we can keep you anonymous while voting
5) Deadline for submissions is Monday, March 19th 2012 at 10:00 AM EST
Let's have some fun with this. I hope we get some really cool designs. I'll post the designs to this thread as I receive them (without revealing the source).
