[Lightning Edge]

Just a heads up for anyone that doesn't know about it.

Follow this

From title screen .
Go to Wi-Fi (Line 4).
Go to "Gift Mode" (Line 2)
Go to "Gift" (Line 3)

This will allow you to battle rare or unobtainable monsters. If you defeat them, you earn them.

hope this helps out.

*Edit* oh and i forgot to mention, this is for the Pro version

this works, but PLEASE be prepaired for a tough fight.. you only get 1 chance per day to win the battle.

i tried it just now and i got put up against a lvl 80 dark leonyx with 8500 hp. he spent the first 2 rounds psyching up to 100, then lightning storm and killed my party =/

I just went up against a Slime Blaster. It utterly destroyed me! it used Magic Burst the first turn XD

I guess they wanted to make sure you would have to work for your prizes. I think they went overboard though lol

I'm not gonna take a chance and end up missing out on these monsters. I'm gonna get a team of monsters with Clang and start spamming it until the time limit is up.

it'll take too long to train up a team to actually beat them, and i don't know how much longer they're gonna be avalible.

How do I do it with no connection, isn't there a way to connect to wi-fi with ds emulator?

@ss14hero. I'm not sure how to do it with an emulater

@everyone. my plan didn't work. it seems like you can only use Clang once on Wi-Fi. talk about annoying >_< Guess i have to train up a team and defeat them all before it's too late.

I use the Flashcard called Super Card DSTWO.

It acts just like the real game, so i can play it on my DS and still access Wi-Fi.

Bha , just figth againts the Pipit trio , they deleted me in 0.4 secs.

Each one deals 450 damage per hit >-<

^ Are you serious? Crap! This is gonna be harder than i thought.

I faced off against Slime Blaster for the 3rd time. I atleast almost stalled out till the 10 turns were up. but he used Helm Spliter and killed my team before the time was up XD

Yep , the Wierdist thing is In my first Playthrough , I had Titanis and murdaw both level 95 and i always meet shitty monsters on That mode , like hexagor or Clownhead.

holy crap. i just connected to the gift mode (whatever its called) just now, and im fighting a SlimeGang. its a size 3 monster that is nothing but a huge pack of neat looking slimes.. they arnt all that hard, 6k health, 400 atk/def/agi and 500 wis. nothing my team cant handle since they beat the post-game stuff. holy crap i love the animations this monster has lol

i also found a website that shows what monsters will be available on the gift mode

Lol! i know! it was a weird game, but it was tons of fun! I still wonder why every enemy had a Platypunk tail lol

Anyway, i fought a Dark Leonyx the other day. It demolished me! but i'm not giving up! Dark Leonyx is my favorite Giant!

I finally got a Dark Leonyx! I already trained him like crazy! I used him to beat Slime Blaster today.

Now i just need to obtain Captain Crow, Slime Gang and Elder Pipit.

nobody knows exactly how to get ultraslime legitly. i cheated and used an AR code to force a fusion result to be an ultraslime. and we never said it wasnt available through gift mode. it just wasnt on the list of current gift monsters. they'll probably change it every few weeks.
